Preparatory education course

At the Yamano Japanese Language School, our preparatory education course is a Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology designated course in which students from countries that do not require completion of 12 years of secondary education can obtain eligibility for Japanese college entrance. We have college preparatory courses of either 1 year or 18-month duration, beginning in April and October, respectively. In addition to the standard Japanese language instruction, our preparatory courses also include 120 hours of English, math and science classes each year. Course graduates obtain certification equal to Japanese high school graduation.
